Support Groups

A support group is a space where you can connect with other people who have lived experience with OCD.

There are different types of support groups to meet your needs;

  • chat room, online (zoom) or in-person,

  • anonymous, or sharing personal info,

  • with, or without a facilitator,

  • participate, or just observe.

You don't have to feel so alone. Connect with your OCD community!

What is the difference with a treatment group?

The goal of a support group is in the name - it is primarily about support. The sessions tend to be less structured, and more flexible according to the needs of the members present at the time.

A treatment group will also offer an opportunity to connect with other people who are in a similar situation, but the sessions are more structured and involve the application of therapeutic techniques.
